Ok, so the install on my light bar went well, it looks great and I am thrilled to death, except for one thing. The light on the bar works, but not my third brake light. I don't see why this should be.

There is supposed to be a connector for the wiring harness, but a previous owner apparently found it necessary to remove it and splice the wires together with shrink tubing. It looks like a fairly good job, is neatly done, and everything worked before. Instead of putting the bayonet through the plug, I connected it with a plastic inline splice. None of this should be the culprit. I didn't even cut any wires to do it.

Does anyone have a thought why this might be?

You would be amazed how much time you can save trying to re-wire a light bar if you just CHECK THE FRAKKING BULB FIRST!!!

That was going to be my suggestion when I read your first post - go for the easy to check and cheap fix first and rule it out!

I was going to, but it seemed like too big of a coincidence that I had just installed the bar.
