The cat deletes will definitely do the trick but some people have reported leaking issues with a set up like this. IMO, the best option would be to just grab an after market X or H-pipe! This will not just give you the ability to run a cam tune, the 11+ 5.0's pick up 15+ RWHP from a cat less mid pipe. However, if the cat deletes are installed correctly, I don't think you should have any leaking issues! There's thousands of people running the cat deletes without any complaints.
You won't make any sacrifices to every day driving with the Cam tune. I run the Cam tune on my 2011 GT and absolutely love it! It will give you that lopey idle that we all love and then all of the tables go back to normal after you pull away. You will see a loss in gas mileage if you're sitting still at idle but when driving you won't see a big decrease!

Well, had the Cat delete BBK Pipe installed and did the Ghost Cam Tune and Dan from American Muscle was right on again, the pipes fits almost perfect, had a little leak and welded it and it is fine. It sounds fantastic when it idles, rumbles like a Cam is installed and actually shakes the car when sitting in it. The only problem is, that it is very loud and WOT. I have the Roush Axle Backs which probably help increase the noise. You have to remember there is nothing to stop the air flow, but the good news, it lets out the beast in this car. I would recommend not getting on this beast with any cops in the area, as long as you drive carefully, you will be Ok. A great addition to the 5.0.

If you think cat deletes and Roush axle backs are loud, switch to cat delete and Pypes Pype bomb axle-backs. Its absolutely loud on the throttle but quiet at idle. With the ghost cam and hybrid tune it is loud in the low rpm's too.

It sounds beastly, wish i didnt have to go to an offroad pipe to get this. I cant have mine too loud where i live.
maybe an offroad midpipe and stock mufflers would be ok sound - wise but then i probably couldnt hear the idle
