Looking to get wheel spacers on my 13 gt if anyone has them done please post pictures. As far as spacing what do you guys recommend on stock brembo rims and tires.

 

How thick are you wanting to go?

We sell these spacers up to 3/8" thick, but if you go too thick, you really need to add longer wheel studs.

I have 5/16 spacers to make room for caliper covers. Plenty of room. The question I had is since the holes on mine are larger than the studs, presumeably to allow for different bolt patterns, they kind of drop down due to gravity. Am I supposed to find a way to keep them in perfect centered position before I install the wheel?

 

Yes. Spacers that thick should be hubcentric, which means that they have a lip to center them. If yours aren't, they'll create a noticeable imbalance if they're not perfectly centered.

They sell hubcentric kits with upgraded studs. I am lowered 1" and have 7/8" in front to clear my brembo's and 1" in back.

 

off topic, but I see you have a 5.0 badge on your car.....did you swap out the 4.6? Any pics?

 

OP, sorry for the derail. It is stroked to 5.0.

 

Factory brembo wheels really don't need spacers to be honest. The car just really needs new wheels to take advantage of how much room you've got to fit some fat tires in there.

 

If you have Brembo brakes like me, you need spacers. Or, if you like your stock 18" wheels and want to fill the wheel wells better, you need spacers.
