About 6 months ago my battery would randomly be dead. Was happening several times a month. Replaced the Shaker 500 with an aftermarket unit, no more dead battery. Still running the factory battery as well.

The Optimas I heard was good a couple of years ago but company got bought out or something. I researched batteries for my Honda Accord daily driver and consensus was Sears Die Hard still comes out on top. You have to buy the top-of-the-line Platinum version for no questions asked 3-yr return policy. Around $160 if not on sale.

My 2013 Mustang GT still got 110 miles, picked up last summer. It won't be driven in my current state so I start it once every 2, sometimes close to 3 weeks, to rev the engine for 5'. So far it always starts. I checked the voltage after 2-3 weeks and it's down to 11-12 volts, but it still turns the flywheel so I haven't bothered with a trickle charger for now. I keep waiting for it to be dead one day. Stock Motorcraft. When it dies, a Die Hard will go in it.
