Lost Voltage

Lost Voltage
So I'm driving to work (~75mph) and after 25 miles (half way) my stock radio shuts off. Try and turn it on and it says low battery. Look down and my stock voltage meter and its way in the "Low". Dash shows the traction symbol, and the ABS light comes on, and I notice the traction control button is off. Headlights were on but died by the time I got off the freeway along with the compass in my mirror. Car ran fine the whole time until I turned it off in a parking lot but everything else electrical (as far as I remember) slowly went dark. Car wouldn't start again, but after waiting ~10 min the car started but the voltage slowly dropped again.
So WTF. Did my alternator just crap out? I do have under drive pulleys, could they have over worked the alt the past few years?
I also replaced the battery about 2 weeks ago, but that seemed liked a totaly different scenario. The battery got totally drained the last time out and then the car ran fine, but idled a lil weird when headlights were on (i assumed because of a bad battery and the pulleys). This time the car ran and idled fine but i had no voltage. And the car seemed perfectly fine since then ~ 1000 miles ago.
