Another give away is that every real Saleen I have seen has been numbered on the top of the front bumper in front of the drivers headlight.

Saleens also had a special gauge cluster insert that said "Saleen" and were 200 MPH speedos

It also doesn't have a Saleen hood

I had a good friend with an 06 Saleen. and called him. He explained that saleen and Roush are similar in packages when ordered from them. Saleen is an aftermarket brand that deals directly with ford, and thats how you can keep MOST of the factory warranties. When ordering a saleen, you have the option to put damn near anything you want, or dont want on it. the "S" in the steering wheel IS a NON OPTIONAL addition. My thoughts are this is a car someone took a lot of pride in, and put a saleen body kit onto. It could also be a recovered stolen car that was gutted. who knows, maybe it was a saleen prototype and they just didnt put all the goodies in it. But if it were me, I would bet this is not a true saleen, (they also have badges on the interior naming the production number if im not mistaken). but usually Saleen i sall over the engine bay as well, as thats where Saleen is most prideful. GL!
