Default Help identify. Want to "refurbish"

Hey everyone. I was cleaning my mustang today and decided to take off the chin spoiler and repaint it. I have a GT500 front fascia and the chin spoiler is black plastic and it was a bit faded. lots better now. I was looking around and i noticed the black plastic that lines the driver side window and the passenger side window. These look like crap. faded, spotted, just bad. Does anyone know how to remove these things? i did a quick inspection and didnt see much. just thought i would ask on here. I took a flat head to the plastic and did some minor tugging and pushing to see if it would just pop out but had no success. thanks for any input. I included a pic to try and help show yall where i am talking about.

I was going to ask why you would take a flat head to that trim rather then a trim removal tool until I saw your sig and all of your mods. Then I changed my mind.

I've pulled that trim off of Ford pickups before with my bare hands and it took some force to get it off but they did pop off. I seem to recall pulling the lower window trim off with my bare hands before to put this stuff on that was supposed to keep my window tint from scratching...I'll dig around a bit and see if I can find that stuff and that will probably link where to at least pull that trim off the door. You might pull the interior trim off of the A pillar and see if you can determine how that exterior molding attaches.

the upper part you remove the A pillar cover, then you just pull the rubber out of the channel basically, then theres screws holding the plastic into the roof of the car.

the outer plastic on the door im not sure, probably a how to somewhere

Thanks to all. I have removed the two black strips on the too of the car before. Easy

Also about the screwdriver, I didn't put it against the paint. There was a cloth in between. And I barely used any force. I don't have a trim removal tool and I'm pretty good with a flat head. Lol
