I just bought a set of rims and these tires came with it ..245-40-18 Sunitrac FOCUS-9000, never heard of the brand, im wondering if there going to be safe to ride on, thanks!

 

Take a look and see what year those tires were manufactured. If the tires are old as **** then I'd get them replaced.

The brand name isn't a household name but doesn't mean its a crappy tire. I would google search that brand/tire model and see what other people say.

 

I wouldnt safe unsafe because of a brand, but just make sure to do the old penny trick to check the tread depth.

 

I tried looking them up, looks like they may be made in the UK, can't really find a manufactured date , guess well see when I get them.. Thanks guys

 

the date is on the sidewall in a four digit code. "4511" would mean the tire was made in the 45th week of 2011. not sure its an international code or just for tires sold in US. good luck.
