Fuel Pressure Sensor 2005 gt
I got a code of 0193 saying my fuel pressure sensor needs to be replaced. Replaced it no problem very easy to do. My check engine light did not go off. Is there something I am missing? Any suggestions would be great. thanks

You need to clear the code - or continue driving until it re-registers. Do you have the SCT or Predator to read the code or did you go to one of the auto stores to have them read it? If you have your own handheld you can clear the code yourself.
I would clear the code (and double check to see if you have a new code for the CEL). That will tell you if you've actually taken care of the problem with the new sensor. If it didn't, within a short time your CEL will trip again and you will know that something else is needed that way.

A year, maybe near two, later the light came on again. Ford blamed it on the FP again, I told them they had already replaced the pump, they went back to the drawing board. I had a Granatelli intake with a "chip" of its own at the time. They said that the Granatelli was not allowing the code to reset, however that stuff works. They said they unplugged Granatelli and that allowed reset to happen.
More time passed, the light returned. I figured I knew what it was. I had talked to someone that had used intake and a "tuner" one day, I had kept his number. He still had it. Installed, check light went away, sorry I hadn't bought that thing years ago, MUCH BETTER than Granatelli.
FWIW, i post this because you have an '05 GT and a fuel pump issue.

If not disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes. That will clear the codes. If you only unhook it for a few minutes, it will not erase it.
