Help!! Passenger Side Water Leak!!
Hey folks,
New member here.. Got in my car this morning to head to work and when I started to drive off, water started pouring from behind my glove compartment. Now, I only pulled out of my parking space, and then backed into it because the water just caught me off guard.. I've read a few other posts on here, some guys are saying in their threads that theirs was a hose breaking/leaking and some are saying it was a drain hole near the cabin air filter that was clogged with leaves and crap that pushed the water into the car...
I'm no car expert by any means, and I have been parking under trees for the past month and a half, and we've had a TON of rain the past few days... After I came back inside and looked into it a little more, I started my car, revved the engine a bit and let it idle while parked, then drove it around a bit and no water leaked at all.. Granted, I get it wouldn't leak if all the water had leaked into the car the first time...
So my question is, anyone have any ideas? I know it's difficult based on the minimal amount of information that I've given, but are we looking at just a clogged drainage slot, or are we looking at a hose being broken/leaking? What other information can I give you guys to help out?
Thanks!!
