Default MA emissions regulations

I have an '07 GT w/ a CAI & tune and I want to upgrade the cams. My concern is that I will not be able to pass the new emission regulations in MA. As it stands now I have to remove the CAI, put the stock airbox back on and tune it back to factory settings (among other things) in order to get a sticker. Is it possible for me to upgrade cams (as large as I can go with stock springs) and still somehow pass MA emissions? Thanks! -m

You might want to look for C.A.R.B. (California Air Rescources Board) approved tune and upgrades. they are 50 state legal and will pass California's strict emissions law without problems.

That means you'll probably have to get a different CAI and Tune. The tune should be free for life if it's from one Brenspeed or American Muscle. There might be others but those are the two I know.

That being said, I don't know if you'll find CARB approved cams. Generally, the more into the motor you get, the less likely the chances of such compatibility.
