transmission noise

Default transmission noise

when coming to a stop in neutral and when engaging the clutch, sometimes i get a clicking sound and or a banging in the driveline. the clutch does not slip. any ideas?

There are plenty complaints on your issue. Sometimes its the rear sway bar grommets. Some noise from drive line play is normal. I didn't like mine from new so I went to a after market drive shaft soon after I bought it. This really made a great improvement by 95%.

ya. thats on the list..probably with 163k on the clock, i would tear out the old clutch, flywheel and other wear items along with the mounts. cha ching!
