Glad you found the problem!
The inside of the unit could have a bad ground but unless you have a schematic of the guts, good luck. You would be best off just buying another head unit. Make certain it is the same part number as the one you want to replace.

What Raxiom harness are you talking about? If that's plugged inbetween your head-unit and your speakers THAT could be the issue.....

Uhmm.... the harness that plug into the factory stuff and goes into the back of the sync unit... uhm, I kinda like the look of the factory unit honestly. I actually think it’s sounds pretty good... 2 door speakers, 2 8” subs in the doors plus the rear deck. Not too shabby

Haven't really looked into it, but do you guys know if the Shaker 500 has an option to add a bass tube? I guess I will have to add an amp to it.

That’s just a sub but in tube form right? Lol, either way I feel like if you’re going to add an aftermarket sub I’d ditch the factory amp and use an aftermarket one. Just make sure the outputs are the same. I’m not a huge audio knowledge guy but I think if the speakers and subs have different ohms and the amp is too strong or too weak it can cause blowouts. Don’t quote me though!

Okay, I'm a little confused.

Raxion is an aftermarket wiring harness that plugs into a factory head unit and the factory harness?

Why would you need an aftermarket wiring harness if it's all OEM? Did you swap out the original OEM head unit with an upgraded OEM unit and use an aftermarket (Raxiom) harness to make the connections since the upgraded OEM headunit does not match the OEM harness on your car?

So this harness has the regular sync connections as the OEM harness, as well as stuff specific to the Raxiom unit. All I did was unplug it and plug the factory stuff back in and BAM!

You might want to look in the rubber tube the wires run through from the body to the door, it almost sounds like a Frayed ground wire

This issue has been resolved everyone! Thank you for everyone’s help but the culprit was the Raxiom headunit. Guess it has some internal issue(s).
