I have broken one harmonic 3-fingered puller, bent another one, almost pulled the harmonic balancer apart at the rubber connection and finally broke a grade #8 bolt off in the crank trigger threads and I have no idea what to do. Is there a set screw or multiples on the danm thing somewhere or does anyone have any ideas I should try?

 

Did you put the claws of the puller around the spokes of the harmonic balancer (the correct way) or did you put them around the outer rim (the wrong way)?
