I have a problem with the fuel level indicator, the tank is full, but even if it was not full, it was the same. The check engine light is on. Where to start looking for a fault?

 

The problem is likely to be a faulty fuel gauge sending unit.

 

Thank you for your answer. There are two plugs at the back, behind the driver there is a plug and a hose next to it, and behind the passenger there is also a plug. Which one is responsible for the fuel level?
