anyone using a torque converter,which one?

 

yeah i got a TCI street fighter with a custom stall. works great. it's like hitting a 100 shot as soon as you hit the throttle. i can lay rubber through 3rd gear. mine is a little loose for daily driving but i wanted an aggresive launch. so far best 60' is 1.84 with stock suspension and stock tires. it picked up 2 tenths in the 60' alone. once i get a tune done for the converter i should run 12's already have run 13.08 only 103mph. need converter to lock earlier i think. it's definitly worth the money and TCI is great to work with.

 

have mac axle backs,diablo steeda tune with steeda cai,i'm going to install supercharger and water injection.am interested in how it works for you?

 

i'm still on stock wheels and tires and 60' are 1.84 so far. i picked up about 2tenths in the 60' and 3 tenths overall so far. my converter was a custom build so it stalls a bit more than the standard street fighter. i wouldn't reccommend going that high unless you are going to race alot. as far as street driving it's ok. i need to play with lock up a little. i think there is more et in the car with locking up the converter earlier. i have run a best of 13.08@103 so far. launch is great!!
