You do realize that the current set of aftermarket TB's do absolutely nothing in terms on gains.

 

i just found one at stage 3 motorsports, from bbk, it will be out soon for uder 3 hun i beleive and it caims 10 to 15 hp. if thats true then i want it. i dont want super charger , i want everything else, i dynoed stock at 271 vry rich, all ive done is afe intake, o/r xpipe and cutome tune and that put me over 3 to the wheel, so some puilleys, new t b, and what everelse i can find i want, all i want is between 330 and 350 tho the wheels, do you think thats possible

 

yeah i know. i've expressed that view on a different thread. the stock 05-06 is a twin 56mm i think. that should be more than enough cfm flow for about 400 hp N/A. hell the stock eliminator and factory stock guys are making over 450hp with a single 65mm in the 5.0 motors. i've been told more then once by experienced tuners that unless you are s/c or going to make 500 hp N/A it's a waste of money. i still want one though just like a big camshaft. i want everything i can get before i spray it or go with a s/c.

 

You WILL NOT get 10-15 hp from a throttlebody. Period.

yeah it's not going to make much of a difference increasing the t/b size if the intake manifold and heads are already maxed out. which they almost are stock. if the car is stock with no tuner or cai you may pick up 10hp, but who has one anymore without a flash tuner?
