SOCAL tracks

RE: SOCAL tracks
I assume you mean drag racing...
Irwindale is an 1/8, crappy shtdown zone
LACR is a full 1/4, next to a rock quary, always sandy
Carlsbad is another 1/4 that is about as level as a mountain
Famoso is the best track, period.
Pomona would be better than Famoso, but they are not open to the public.

RE: SOCAL tracks
Pamona was the best back when they used to do the street legal drags.
I like LACR in Palmdale. Elevation is over 3K feet, so your time/mph will be a little under, but you can adjust your time for the altitude. Also, I've found LACR to be less crowded. Last time I was there, I got in several runs (5 if I remember right) and I was there for less than 3 hours (including tech and check in!)
