Default Tuner Question

I think paying $675 is a lot of money for brenspeeds C&L AIR INTAKE WITH SCT X-CAL 2 2005/06 GT.

If I were to just get the C&L Air Intake and have a 3rd party car shop install it for me - would they be able to TUNE the car for me too?

is it NECESSARY to buy the tunner or do most shops carry one? I figure I will only use it once then it will just sit there doing nothing.

THanks in advance!

Default RE: Tuner Question

you could have a shop tune it for you, but if you ever want to return your car to factory settings you'll need to go back to them and have it tuned again. each time will cost you $$, so buying a tuner might be a better investment.

i just bought that same combo btw, C&L + SCT tuner....i'll PM you with what i paid for it....got mine from Fred at Evolution (and didn't pay $675 either).
