Default Scotchgard Paint Protection

My black 2010 GT is a daily driver and I want to keep it in the best condition as possible. Driving the car everyday I worry about rock chips and other debris from the road beating the crap out of the hood and front bumper. I have been debating for awhile about getting scotchgard paint protection installed but its expensive and was wanting to get some input if anyone has tried it, or knew of someone. Comments please

Debating the same thing. The kits vary so much from site to site, it is hard to judge which one to buy.

I went with the clearmask one and it worked out great. I would definitely recommend them.

I just had my whole front end done for $750 installed on my 2011 GT. It took them a day and a half because the hood lines on our cars make it a nightmare to get everything lined up. It supposedly took them 6 hood cuts to get it right. However, I'm glad they took a little longer because it came out perfect!

Unless you stand directly over the hood seam in just the right light, you cannot see it at all. The seam literally disappears in most light/angles. The other pieces cover everything, so there are no seams. I had the hood, valence, bumper, fenders, and side mirrors covered. They also did my headlights and fog lights for free since it took longer than expected. I may be bringing it back in to have the A-pillars, door sills, and trunk lid edge done too.

It was pricey, but absolutely worth it. I was getting chips at with less than 700 miles. I'd be getting my front end repainted every 6 months at that rate. It'll pay for itself in a few months.
