Does Roush inspect their shipments?
So I decided, while I'm waiting on my GT from Ford, to order a whole mess of Roush stuff. I ordered the front fascia with fog light kit, front splitter, side splitters, rear valance, and the upper and lower grilles from a vendor who had the parts shipped directly from Roush. They arrived quickly and all was good in my world...until I opened the boxes. The front fascia and rear valance were all scratched up! I called the vendor and explained the situation. He told me that they were getting a lot of complaints about the condition of Roush parts. Doesn't Roush have someone in Quality Control inspect these things before they ship out?
In other news...my ETA delivery date has come and gone with no updates.

I just bought a Roush lower rear valance. It was scuffed up a bit on one end like someone stood it or lightly dragged it on concrete. It was in plastic, in a completely sealed box with no box damage. Fortunately it wasn't bad enough that I'd pay for shipping 2 more times...

When a company is big enough, no, usually not all parts are inspected before leaving a warehouse. Most situations only call for, as you had said - "quality control" inspections, which will be chosen randomly.
Not saying this is how it's done at Roush, but when you are shipping out hundreds or thousands of parts per day, it just isn't feasible to get out the microscope for all of it.
Either that, or this vender messed it up and is trying to pass the blame.

Here's an update - The vendor called Roush for me. Roush wants me to take pictures of the scratched parts and email it to them. They will then send me new parts and pay for the return shipping of the scratched parts.

I have no stock in Roush but they have treated me better than 90% of the aftermarket companies out there and I've gone through several off them modding my two corvettes, two mustangs and Hummer so I'm very glad to see they are working with the buyer. I just feel that before we start jumping on a vendor we at least need to give them a chance make it right.

I do have to say though, My fascia doesn't fit perfect... They provide shims for the front fender so that it pushes it out some to match the body lines of the fender tip where it meets the fascia. When the car is in the sun, the fascia expands and the 2 shims they provide aren't enough. Then the fasica sticks out past the fender a little. I emailed them and they didnt respond. Another member on this site who had a Grabber Blue 2010 had the same problem, but he later sold his car.
Eventually when it bothers me enough, I'll take it off, and add another pair of shims and hope that will take care of it.
