take a drill, 2 leds and 6" of wire, and boom.
Its a good idea, but it looks terrible, should have a diffuser on the front so you don't just have 2 dots.
Also, not like you will get in trouble but you aren't allowed to have red lights on the front of your car, they have to be yellow.

Put some CFL in there and maybe we could have a one-off creation.
You are just asking for the coppers to pull you over...
Maybe make them blue instead of red and see what reaction you get.
Front yellow, rear yellow or red....
