Default GT500 brakes. Best way to color the calipers

I picked up a set of the brembo GT500 brakes. The calipers are black, but i was thinking about going red. Which is the best way? Have them powder coated? the G2 paint? I dont think id go the caliper cover way tho. any input?

I always clean mine real real good, then i paint them with red caliper paint & coat them with clear coat (to easily clean from brake dust).. They look like if they came like that from factory

Powder coated. But they have to be rebuilt not hard to do. You don't have to separate the halves as the internal o-ring will stand up to the heat. But you do have to pull the pistons and of course the dust covers and seals.

What he said.

It will look the best, and be the most durable. That being said, it is the most expensive option. But, you have to pay to play.

I always used crayons and colored pencils to color things......

I'd have em powdercoated though.

I just used duplicolor red caliper paint, it came with caliper cleaner, masking tape and a brush, it was super easy to put on... I can post up pics of mine if you want to see what it would look like on stock 2011 gt brakes

I've had good success with high temp engine paint for smooth surfaced calipers.

And if you even consider putting caliper covers on a set of Brembos then I will request that you are banned.
