Plasti-dip FTW. Lol. you can order it in different colors and you don't have to worry about availability that way. (Some people have issues finding regular Plasti-dip in stores) it comes out really even but more of a flat appearance.

Painting may be more of what you're looking for but I don't know about it much.. Sorry.. I would advise really light coats though to help prevent the running and maybe help keep it nice and even. Good luck and post pics when you're done!

Honestly I recommend powder coat I have a sterling grey and got my stock wheels done in a gloss black it's well worth it

Sterling grey and I powder coated as well.

The powdercoater that did mine had probably 12-15 versions of between dark gray and flat black.

Ask to see their color chart and samples. Mine had samples the size of playing cards. He let me take about 15 different colors which allowed me to lay them up against the paint.

Cost was $80 per wheel.

Thanks for the info, sounds like the best way to go, just need to find the right color...
