Default Curb rash/scrape on wheel

Rubbed up on a curb and got a 6 inch or so curb rash/scrape on my front driver wheel outer rim. It is OEM 19" painted.

Is there any way to fix this? How much would it cost?

You can have rims refinished. My friend told me its only like $200 for all four rims here at a local shop in fl. I guess prices vary, but that will give you an idea

most wheel repair places will do a wheel for about 100. they will sand it down, smooth it out, and use an OEM like finish to repair it.

good luck! no worries, it can be fixed.

Youtube it.
There are some decent videos.

I did the same to a couple of mine. My first patch was not that great. I blame it on my painting skills. I just took a small rotary to it because it was a deeper cut and smoothed it out.

But my next wheel I will actually use a few different types of sanding paper and take wheel off the car. tape up around the spots so if I sand off or make a mistake it stays in the area im working on.
