Hoods
#11
The shop said that it would take about 2-3 weeks to get all my hail damage fixed and get the hood done. Not sure if that seems like too long of a time frame, but I'm sure he will take the time and do a great job. Hopefully the price isn't too high.

I called them in May to see what the deal was, and they said it typically does take this long. I was trying to get the hood before the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA, but no luck. However, it it coming tomorrow! So hopefully I'll have it installed and have some pictures of it by the end of the weekend.

Well the hood came in last week and I was able to install it yesterday!
Overall, the quality of the hood is very good, and Cervini's paint job looks great.
However, there were a couple of issues.
1. The bolts needed to mount the hood were not included. You cannot re-use the factory bolts. Not a huge deal as I was able to find the right size at Lowe's, but still, they should have been included and the instructions indicate that they are.
2. The hood seems to be slightly smaller (width wise and length wise) than the stock hood. There is a slightly larger gap on each side than there was on the stock hood.
Even with those issues, I'm still very happy with the hood so far.
I also purchased the Ram Air Duct and Cold Air Intake kit with the hood:
Installation took about 8 hours total (I also put on some hood struts).

The front of the duct is applied with 3M automotive tape (I feel like every Mustang exterior mod uses this), and then there are about 15 screws that go right into the underside of the hood. It's pretty easy to line up, as there are ridges on the hood that match the duct.
