Default New top cost?

Since I'm in San Diego my top is up/down all the time - practically every day. Therefore I have some wear spots already at 34k miles. I have a call in for a quote, but does anyone have an idea of what the cost is for having a new OEM type top put on?

After investigating and looking at videos I've decided a top replacement needs to be left to a pro.

TIA

I'm very picky. It is frayed just a bit by the rear seat side window. Then it's slightly faded where it folds up in different areas. I have off street parking but no garage, so it's outside and up/down a lot. Just today it was up/down three times as I took a cruise up to Dana Point...

I'm in no hurry but I'd like to know how much before I spend any money on any other mods.

Wow that is alot of up and down but I cant blame you if the weather is great! My only suggestion that I can think of is to locate a good ford dealer in the area and find out who they use to do their warranty work and top replacements. Most of the ford dealers in my area do not do top work. So I assume the same there. Give them a call and get a quote for your area. You know if the ford dealership is using it they should have experience with convertible mustangs but I would definitely do my homework before I let anyone touch my car.
