2015 V6 Exaust
Recently bought a 2015 v6 Mustang and want to do some exhaust mods. It is my daily drive. I had some things in mind and wanted some guidance and feed back. I plan to eventually get new headers and downpipe. Later down road.
I would like to do the work myself.
The three things I am looking to buy are:
- Resonator Delete H-Pipe Aluminized Steel GT 2015-2019
-Pypes M-80 Center/Center Bullet Style Muffler - 2.5 in.
-Flowmaster Venturi Reducer Cone - 3.0 in. to 2.5 in

I've installed a gt hpipe and paired it with roush axle backs and absolutely love the sound. the hpipe makes the car very deep at cruising speeds and idle and at wot it screamss. if you compare it to an xpipe, there is no questioning which sound is superior. you don't get that annoying rasp and whinny sound that most of the modded 3.7s have out there. the power difference on paper might not be much but the driving feel is a world of difference. the engine breathes far better and you don't get any of that weird lag or rattling rasp stuff that you get with stock or other after market resonators. I highly recommend trying the hpipe setup if you're looking to make a drastic sound difference. be careful around cops if your state is hard on sound levels because though at cruising speeds the sound is fine, when you open it up it gets very loud.
I can't speak to the pypes or flow master but I'm certain that the hpipe will improve and deepen the sound of any axle back you throw on.
