Default changing the stock shifter?

does anyone have any videos of how to change the stock shifter on a manual 11' V6? And does anyone know if it is possible to order from ford the aluminum ball shifter that comes on the premium GT?

Personnaly I have heard of more than one person state that the Aluminum **** soaks up alot of heat depending on the time of year....

I have ordered the Epco **** with a grabber pony polished adapter.

Cheers,

From a personal experience, looking for a short throw shifter, if that is what you are looking for or just the ****. no one makes a short throw or taller shifter for '11 v6, even roush has not finished the taller one for 5.0 and haven't thought about the v6. this is **** i have but i want the taller shifter as I had in my '10 gt, and according to roush they said what they are working on isn't much different than stock except it could be taller, which i want.

No, I was just looking at changing the ****, I should have been more specific. 6+6, your v6 set up is exactly what I had in mind. I like the shorter shifters personally. Does the **** just screw off, or do I need to do some disassembling?

nope just grab it and turn counter clockwise, no boot change needed, but the little spacer thing so don't see threads i got w/ the roush shifter, which when you use the taller shifter it's left over so good thing i hung on to.

Did you order that shift boot and **** from the Roush web site store?
I didn't see it anywhere on their site, do you have a part number?
Did they offer the **** in any other color then white?
I was hoping for either a black ****,
Or the one that looks this: (which I like best) http://image.popularhotrodding.com/f...gt+shifter.jpg Who makes that one and where can it be purchased from? Anyone?
