Thinking aloud. A guy almost ready to pull the trigger...

Just a quick update if anyone is interested. Went down to the dealership, and like a sign from the big man himself saying, "make the decision yourself" my phone completely crapped out on me. Impeccable timing. Anyway, after waffling back and forth on both cars (one being at another dealership) forever, I finally pulled the trigger on... the Blue Kona. As much as the gray MCA+PP was an absolutely mean looking beuty of a car, I chose the more mellow V6 Pony Premium. The 2.73's and 18's were just going to fit me better considering my daily commute and especially considering where I live, the glass roof is so very unique. Will post a couple of pics if I have some time.

Great choice IMO ... the 18" Pirrelli's are decent all around tires for the power these V6's have and not to expencive when replacement time comes around.
The 19" tires in the PP are almost 3 times the cost to replace (there are cheaper alternatives in that size, but still 1.5-2 times the cost).
That and a Max Performance Summer tire has a lower treadwear rating than the Ultra High Perf A/S so you'd of been replacing them more often as well.
Also as I stated earlier in this thread, the 2.73 gear is much more interstate friendly if you are out doing more than 55 MPH quite a bit.

A couple of pics... Total gray-sky flat light today thanks to the Washington sky. Which I guess is what helped with my decision to go with the glass roof (seriously, the two were a total toss-up). Although, after driving it around a lot today, its niced to see how well the shade works when you want to close it off. Like any human out there, I wondered today if I got the right one. Tried to keep reminding myself that when the decision is that close, that its probably natural. My buddy who has always been a Mustang fan, but almost wanted to believe that there wasn't a v6 out there worthy of any sort of recognition was totally impressed.
Now for a subtle exhaust.... Borla touring perhaps?
