Default 2011 V6 intakes

So I know there are some good intakes out there now for our 2011 v6 like the jlt and araid but they are non tune intakes so the tubing is made to lemons standards so in reality hey don't pull in any more han stock. Does any one know of any other caí coming out that will require a tune because of the bigger tubing?

From what I understand, the restriction is at the throttle body so until a larger one is released, there would be no benefit to tubing larger than these no tune intakes. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thats spot on. At least what C&L said. If they developed a "tune required" cai, the engine couldn't use the extra air anyway.

So, for the 3.7 quad cam, thats not an effective way to make more power.

The main reason that the intakes require no tune, is that the 2011 ecu is more adaptable and can adjust the fuel and timing curve on it's own to match the flow.
