alright, im nearing the point of being able to make some exterior mods to my 2012 v6. here's what i'm thinking to do this year:

I want to switch the v6 front bumper to the styling of the GT front bumper. i know i need to grab the aftermarket fog light kit, or else i'll have holes in my front bumper.. but here's my big question: what exactly do i need?

thats the product that american muscle used on their v6 project car, but it looks like it's just the black portion of the bumper.. the body of the bumper, the part that matches your car's color, doesn't look to be included. where do i find that? or am i just wrong?

if anyone can give me a detailed idea of what i need to complete this bumper swap i'd appreciate it. thanks all!

 

here's a better way to ask this question:

if i buy a front bumper (replacement part) for the 2012 GT, will it hook up to my v6 model? all the connections should be the same right? minus the foglights of course.

 

They only sell the lower part. the rest of the fascia you would need to buy elsewhere.

turns out that i need to be extremely specific with the search parameters regarding this part.. searching front bumper cover did the trick, and i found the following link:

and like you said xenocide (no connection to xenogears in that name is there?), american muscle carries a roush and saleen version.

much more expensive though.. and i think the GT's front bumper already looks fantastic.. just my opinion. maybe its the near $500 in savings that is attractive to me haha.
