Default Need help - transmission not shifting 1-2 at WOT

So I have a 2015, when I floor it in first gear in normal drive mode not in sport and I floor it from a stopped position, it gets to the top of the rev in first it will rev out and stall really bad. But when I am in sport mode and floor it from 0 it has no problems shifting from first to second. I know this cant be good but cant figure out what is causing it or what is wrong. please help.

I would take it to your Ford dealer and have them check it. Come back and let us know what they say

I added something to your thread title. Not going to get a lot of looks with just "need help" as the title.

And yes, you are under warranty. Take it to the dealer and let them diagnose what is going on.

Interesting so basically it does not engage second gear when accelerating from a stand still in normal mode? Does it make a difference if the car is at a slow roll?

Nope no difference. no matter what flooring it in first it then revs up to the highest (6-7) and then just dies. I have never tried to keep pushing through the rev. I always let off as soon as it dies because i am scared something bad will happen if i continue to give it gas.

Kinda sounds like it's hitting the rev limiter but if that were the case it
would only shut down for a couple seconds allowing the rpm's to drop.
If you have a tune on it, you could try lowering your 1-2 wot shift mph.
Factory tune then let dealer check it out.
Good luck.

Could this just be spinning the tires, and then the "stalling" being the traction control system stepping in to help control the wheelspin? I mean im not sure why it would take that long for TCS to kick in though, my guess is TCS is almost instantaneous unless the new cars are just different in that they allow more shenanigans before stepping in.
