Default heads

i am in the process of building my new motor it is out of an 81 crown vic. my question is, is it worth porting and polishing the stock heads or should i just get some aftermarket. or are there any other heads i can use off of other 351s. i am on a pretty tight budget.

porting your stock ones could cost up to the same amount as brand new high flowing heads. i say buy new heads and it will be worth it JMO.

yea porting those stock heads wont be a huge gain. for about 6-700 you can get world windsor senior heads. great heads.
