Default water?

I tried turning my engine over for the first time today and water started spraying out of the top nipple coming off the throttle body. Where do I run that to? is it used to cool somthing or could i just block it off??

Its the top nipple on a trottle body that looks kinda like this (its stock, this is just an example picture)

water runs through the egr spacer to theoretically cool the air. if you block it in the beginning and end of the path you'll be fine. it's a common mod.
