Finally got the car running again. I had posted earlier about the carb being the problem. It wasnt. After i was through doing what i had to do i brought the engine to TDC ( i thought) and the car would not fire. I retarded timing by turning cap and got it too fire but it was smoking bad. Yesterday i got a light on it and it would not run over 0 degree timing. I brought it back to TDC and took my cap off to see where my rotor was pointing and it was well off # 1. Any way i corrected it and it runs strong. Still rich and stumbles a little bit till 4K, but from 4000 to 6800 it is like a kick in the ***. My cam with 1.7 RR has a lift of 625/661 and i have the vic jr so that power band is normal. I have adjusted it before where i have no stumble, but i think this time i am going to get a dyno tune to adjust afr right and i am interested in some numbers. Any guess's

Yeah, the neighbor's do love, some anyway. We live in a nice neighborhood, but my neighbor has a 68 bird with a 509 crate,65 stang,66 nova 2 with a 6-71 blower, he bought my old mustang, newer vette, and mid 80's monte carlo ss, and a new guy across the street has a fox hatch, black like mine but stock. We love our toy's.
