if the engine is going to see any kind of RPM's, 5500+, definetly go with a 225 head. compare the flow charts of the 2 heads to see which head provides more flow in the lower number, .1-.5. the flow on one head a might be a little more at .6 lift but head b might flow better than A from .1-.5. go with whatever head flows the best overall.

I agree totally with Jasperstang...I sold my 5 axis AFR 225'sto get my hands on a set of CNC Trick Flow "R" heads, simply no comparison. But there is also no need without something to feed them, high compression tons of spray or large boost.

Ehhh 11+. They can handle a ton of CFM's, you are going to have to aim for a somewhat aggressive camshaft, intake and yeah your compression N/A will have to be pretty good to get the most of them.

I have decided on a Vortech Y trim, so I decided to err onthe big side with those heads.

I know a dude running a 408ci, 11:5:1, Jay Allen custom grind, ported super victor intake, Holley 950 carb and two 250kits (spray) with the Total Engine Airflow CNC Trick Flow "R" heads and laying down 9.20's and he is fixing to dip into the high eights (converting to F.A.S.T. and more spray)
All on the coveted 1969 351W block and forged internals.

WOW... is porting the intake really worth it,?? how much roughly does that cost? I plan on running 11:1 or maybe 11.5:1 compression, there will be some factors to decide on before i figure that, but like i said, for sure i'll prolly spray it, and maybe a procharger someday if money is there.

If it is done by someone reputable absolutely. Knife edging for high r's and opening the runners does wonders. Anything you can do to get more air volume through and not to mention if it is done right, balancing cylinders is an easier task when the runners are equally sized. Getting the rough casting material out of the way and making everything nice and smooth does wonders when it gets to tuning time.
