Alright fellas im throwin a motor together for a friend of mine and i wanna know about how much hp its gonna make so i know what i gotta do to beat him lol its a 393, edelbrock performer rpm cam, weiand stealth intake and a nice set of D00E heads ported and milled to 58cc's hes also got a TFS stage 3 cam an a vic jr intake he hasent decided on which combo he wants to go with.

 

Probably be 475-500 at the rear dependin on how the H/C/I work together...heads will probably be the weak link

 

Nowhere near 475-500 at the tire, maybe 400 if your lucky with that cam intake setup, the heads will not support the above in the least

 

Here is something to try. Take a soft drink straw. Place it in your mouth and run the 1/4 mile only breathing through the straw. That is what the the 393 will be doind with those heads on it. It will work sure but it will be choked. Cubes need heads period.

and to the op nowhere near 500 rwhp more like 330-350 on a good day, but really rethink the head/cam selection and u will be rewarded with much better results

 

the exhaust port on those D00E's will seriously limit you if it makes more than 385 at the rear tire i would be surprised. plus a weiand stealth intake would not be my choice or the edelbrock cam.
