no you didnt, but i just dont know if im ready for that kid of power hah what if i did like, trick flow heads...custom cam...with an edelbrock intake and a 700+ carb? or would something like that make **** power? provided everything went well together. hmm i dunno, im checking out the 408 on fordstrokers and its like $2800 for the short block.

im going to take that into consideration. everyone on here talks about them and i know your car makes mad power. after looking at your extensive list of mods hah. i just wanna be able to have a safe street car as well as being able to run at the track hah.

I have the top end package in my 1983 vert fox and run a 12.9 with 3:73's on MT ET Streets. After subframes were installed i ran a 12.6 and only on a 650 holley.

Those are some good times. You almost have the same engine setup I do. What tranny are you running?

and I also see that it dynoed at 384 rwhp in one of your threads. I guess edelbrock does back up there ****.

i dunno i just looked into the top end kit cause it would be a cheaper route for me to take, as opposed to getting a $4k block and having it shipped. i emailed jim at fordstrokers and he said hes busy with the move right now but hed be glad to talk to me when theyre done

I have the stock T5 non-worldclass from 1983 :/ Iv only had the motor for 2 years and the top end package came on a year ago but I mean U think the tranny would give pretty quickly but no its still running strong.

are you happy with the top end kit? he said it dynoed in at like 385hp at the wheels is that true?
