Default 393/408 Head Selection

Hey guys-
Im in the process of building a 393 or 408 Stroker motor for one of my fox bodies. My question is, what kind of heads would you guys run? I was thinking along the lines of Track Heat 170s from TFS, but do you think these will flow enough to feed the motor, or are they a little on the small side? Its not all about flow numbers, but I was just wondering thoughts from anybody who has built one of these strokers before. Thanks.

I think 170's would be small. I've got 185's on mine, and wonder if that was a little small, but for the street, that is what the engine builder recommended. It's about what you want, street engine, or race engine, driveability, gas mileage, power, torque, top end, bottom end - what's important to you leads to part selection.

AFR 195's or 205's would probably make a good match.

I would not run anything smaller then a 205cc runner if it was me I would be looking at the TFS Highports in a ported form. The TW work well also but the high ports are my pick.
