Hey I'm new to these forums, but I have a 1995 mustang with a fuel injected 351W, and the throttle cable pulls out of the gas pedal in between shifts when I really get on the throttle, or sometimes if I just really get on it. At the top of the gas pedal where the cable mounts is a U shape and the cable has a rubber bushing that fits down onto it. Do you guys have any suggestions on an easy way to fix this? Anyone else have problems with the throttle cable coming off the pedal? Thanks in advance.

Never personally had this happen but id start with a new throttle cable. If you can get down there and inspect it all with a flashlight do that to . It may be the U shaped cable lock is bent or broken .
