gt40 heads ?

i have a 351 blocked bored 30 over i want to put gt 40 heads with 1.7 crane cams roller rockers and a big comp cams am i goin to have clerance problems

Sure your going to have some clearance problems. The engine will most like sit about 1.5 inches higher than a 302. Your talking a 9.5 deck height VS. an 8.2! You'll most likely run into header clearance issues. But it's a common swap. I think you'll want to change the motor mounts. I also think a oil pan swap is needed. There's probably a ton of guys that have done the swap in this section that can answer the question but I don't think you just drop in a 351. Good luck.

Do you mean piston to valve clearance or engine clearance? Because those are totally different things. I would think you would need some big valve reliefs in the pistons for that cam/head/rocker combo.
