RE: Post your combinations and/or hp.
351 stroked to a 383. 14 psi Vortech, methanol injection, dart sr heads, solid lifter custom cam good for 8000+ RPM, Crane Gold race rockers, girdle, 9.2:1 comp, Propane powered.
No dyno yet but the engine builder and associate people who have contributer to it have estimated 800 crank HP. Hoping for low-mid 9's.

My friend and i are almost done with his car and it sounds so mean.
He has a 69' 429 thunderjet engine from a thunderbird. It came stock with 11.0:1 comp.
and a steel crank. We have a 3500 stall in front of a C-6 with a great cam and we have
dual quad 450 cfm carbs.
After messing with the carbs to get them somewhat adjusted we decided to take it for a
preliminary test drive. "WOW" If it is'nt putting down 500 rwhp i would be amazed.
Dyno tuning coming soon, then the track.
By the way, it is in a 89' red notchback.
