I was 313RWHP with the stock Vortech HO kit (listed as 10PSI). That about 360 to 370 at the crank....

The MRT Cherry 6T6 makes 350 RWHP so that's about 400HP at the crank... (at that's at 7.5 PSI!)

You were at 313 Scrimin?? what are you at now than?? I got a Muscle Mustang and Fast fords Mag where they installed a Vortech 10 psi supercharger and onlu got 228 rwhp and 238 rwtq. to a stock V6 that they dinod at 154 and 166, those are some low numbers, they said the Mustang Dyno they used reads lower than a regular one but that much lower?????
P.S.

Basically they did the pulls in the WRONG GEAR! LOL!!!

I was at 282RWHP on a Mustang Dyno... Mustang dyno's are 12% less than a DynoJet...

ok.. i'm still at 313...

to calculate at the crank, you figure 15% for manual tranny and about 18% for automatics... so like in my case 313 x 1.18 = 369 at the crank...

I was at 282 on the Mustang Dyno so to estimate dynojet number add 12%... 282 x 1.12 = 315 which is close to the 313 actual....

I thought Manuals would be more than automatics, thats what it said everywhere where they dynod the cars (except more with manual, it always says)...
and what about the rear end ..it needs to be updated to a 8.8 ??

Correct, Manuals will read more... they have about an 15% loss while automatic have a 18% loss... so a manual would be 3% to 5% MORE than an equal automatic...

No, you do not NEED to upgrade to an 8.8" rear end... Unless you are going to do some very hardcore racing the 7.5 is fine...

So what was that Limited slip diff. you recomended to do with a supercharged application...sorry for the ignorance Im just trying to get all the info because im looking to go that route....
...and what about those Shelby/paxton ones? no one (at least here) seems to have put in. Im wondering whats the deal with them. Mustangtv.com did a little feature on the CS6 and they said they did an 87 octaine tune, co Could I saty with regular gas after supercharging? How does that work, I mean its still the same engine which was designed for 87 so even if blown and tuned can I still save a buck at the station????

and you cant have a supercharger without a tuner, whoever told ya that it didnt have a tuner needs to be shot. and to get a procharged 100% stock v6 to 400hp would take in excess of 14-16psi, which again, not smart.
we went over this before the last time you posted this info.
+1

there are guys on this site running superchargers on their v6s and they are high 200s low 300 whp i believe. enough to walk a stock s197 GT. I dont know if the v6 engine could handle the boost to even make 400 crank hp. 400 bhp is about 340 whp i think, and that would be just a little too much boost. probably 11-12 psi. dangerous
