Silver let me break it down this way Rygn HP (320 x 12%) = 358rwhp on a dynojet now we add back in the following for the drivetrain to get crank HP (358 x 13% crank)= 404 HP at the crank.

It's not an exact HP rating but gives you around where the crank HP would be.

The Paxton is rated on a dynojet at the crank 350HP

Opps sorry Fazm I was typing on the above this one while you were posting.

turbo will probably give you a better time but people say that a supercharger is safer for th eengine. I really dont know if that is true or not because i have never had an f/i car that i kept more than like 80k miles. In either cas ei think youll be happy. If your not going to the track i think then it depends if you like a supercharger whine or a turbo whistle o_O
Safer for the engine, not sure on that one. SC needs HP to make HP, so it actually puts more stress on the motor lb for lb. And everyone already covered rwhp vs. flywheel numbers.

Wow, really, at 10.3psi I am at 320 on a mustang dyno SAE. Are you sure your numbers are not STD. If SAE then my hats off to you man.

Also, I noticed all the talk on HP here.....which is important, but keep in mind TQ. What TQ rating is the paxton/shelby advertised at? Also keep in mind my car is an auto. A manual on the PH turbo, at 9.5lbs put down 330rwhp on a mustang dyno. Manual will show more power.

Seriously, this one really has my interest!!!!

320rwhp on a MD at 9.7lbs of boost on procharger. I bet I'm not the only one that would love to know how it's setup, size pulley, who tuned it....why kind of IC, any other cooling or specifics. This is a huge discovery for a lot of SC guys out there.

Please post when you get a chance. [sm=icon_rock.gif]
