You can not use the stock cats with the LT's, I think MAC makes a custom cat setup for the LT's though. I would bet on a dyno the shorties make a little more low rpm power, but if you mod the rest of your car, will end up with more low end power than the shorties and have the top end power. If you don't go to the track a lot (I do) Don't install the LT's, shorties are easy to install, they keep your car legal, if that is a concern, work with all the factory exhaust and don't require you to get a custom tune to turn off the rear o2 sensors. I had the MAc shorties and they took me 7 hours to install, buy the best ones you can for ease of install. The lt's by themselves are very easy to install, the rest of the system is a little trickier.

Where did I do personal flaming DelStang? I've done no such thing on this forum.Point it out and I'll say I'm sorry. In this thread all I did is correct someone for saying shorty's add no hp. And if it was claimed, maybe he saw timeslips of it and I'd like to see them.

If that offended him, I'm sorry. It was really meant to just be a joke since everyone knows I'm young too(18yrsold) and I think he's a year or 2 younger than me. And if that offends someone, they need help I believe.Just for kicks, did that offend u buddy?

I'm not going to get into this with you. I'm just politely asking you to watch what you say.

OMG. U took a joke too far. I'm almost 100% sure he took it as a joke too b/c he didn't say anything angrily. Delstang, if u find friendly banter flaming, then I don't think u have many friends.
