Cananyone help with airbag flashing lights? I replaced the front impact sensor, clockspring, airbag, and seatbelt pretensioner and had the control module reset (by myairbags.com)after an accident and now when I turn the key to on position, the airbag light remains lit for the initial 6 seconds, goes out and then flashes once, pauses a second then flashes nine times, then once, then nine times repeating. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you re-check all the connections already? Grounds?

 

yes, connections all seem secure. the only thing I do not have hooked up are the horns (broke in wreck) which are on order. Would that have anything to do with the flashing airbag lights? Doesn't seem related but I see other posts where the horn stops working when airbag lights are flashing. Just searching for answers.

No one has been able to tell you what the code means? The stealership should be able to tell you what the problem is. They messed up mine (code 16) when they changed the carpet and still have not fixed it. They think the seatbelt harness that is attached to the floor or seat is damaged. Wonder how that happened to my car just changing the carpet.

According to Alldata a 19 code means

Restraint System Airbag Status Driver Front Airbag Circuit Failure.

I suggest a subscription to Alldatadiy.com for a complete listing of the problem and how to diagnose. I realize this is not a ford factory shop manual but it is cheap enough to help fix your problem.
