no update bro haven't filled up since I put the coil on and I didn't get wires or change the gap on my plugs but the car does seem to idle smoother and have a little quicker rev response really not expecting it to do much just thought it might help when the sc goes on

thanks whis i could say the same about not filling up lol only thing that has kept me from filling up is the snow last week and then had to wait for salt to was off the roads. Been driving the mountaineer. think you beat me to buying that used coil lol but 169 new with wires doesnt sound too bad. all the explorer sites say smoother idle. Just have to decide new hood struts or coil????? or wait as mustang will be going under car cover soon to wait for spring

Default Different Coil

I went with a Granatelli Motor Sports coil with 0 ohms wires. I'll be testing it out soon.

Finished gapping plugs to .60 Friday night and I started the car first time, started faster than anything I've ever seen. Idle was smoother, and throttle response was improved. Could not get car out of garage for road test because we got hit with another storm and i have to chip out the 5 inches of ice built up in front of the door so chin spoiler wont hit. I won't have any true gas millage figures or on road performance data until the weather breaks town got stuck plowing and I even had to help the big brown get unstuck (have to keep him moving so I can get parts lol).

So far i love this set up Picked up close to 2 mpg and has great throttle response. I've heard that a few people have burned up plugs with the screaming demon coil. been playing a little with 0 to 60 mph times and they are up too but having traction problems now which i take as more power.
