Ok I have always seen pics of Tlocks with that little peice of S Shaped metal in them. Is that supposed to go it with it or should it be takin out before you put it in. I have always seen them put in with that on, but my old man says that we need to take it out. So anybody got any pics of installed tlocks

It stays in. It is an 'S' spring. I have a pic somewhere, too.

I thought so, If you take it out it is no different than the one wheel peel.

Yeah, the tloc distributes power to both wheels, with limited slip, but without having the 1-wheel peel effect. If upgrading power in the V6, you'll likely want to get the t-loc. Otherwise it's really a matter of if you need both wheels to spin.

The spring is what puts pressure on the clutch plates in a T-Loc.
Your old man needs to go back to rear end school.

this is how i purchased my used t-lok back in march. I never installed it (in fact it's for sale if anyone's interested ), but i'm pretty sure it was ready to go. All I needed was an overhaul kit (bearings and shims... whatnot)
