Best CAI for a V6 mustang?

One that requires a tune.
Its not the CAI that increases the HP,
but the tune that wakes up the mild
Ford programming....

Tunable Inductions FTW

Blue - stock
Red - stock with tune
Green - 87 tune and TI CAI
Not pictured is 93 octane tune which yielded 7 more RWHP

5-speed or auto?

5-speed I would imagine by the stock dyno numbers.

I don't remember what they ran the dyno on but I believe it was an automatic.

That's the intake I have (the dyno is not of my car) but I have the 93 tune, I can't find it but it adds a few more ponies than the standard octane tune.

If anyone is looking for a new c&l cai and sct tuner with bamachips tunes, I'm selling mine on ebay. I ended up trading my v6 for a gt a couple days after I bought them.

I love my JLT but you really can't go wrong as long as you go with the name brands (JLT, C&L, Steeda etc.). The biggest factor is the tune. Go with AM or Brenspeed for that, unless you have a shop around you that would write a dyno tune.

Wish the timing worked out better. I just bought mine a few weeks ago and I live near you. It's hard to find a used CAI/tuner for a V6. I scoured this site and EBay for months. Someone should jump on this.
